Your Cloud Foundry runs the business. Give it an interface to match.

CF AppStage is the modern Internal Developer Portal for Cloud Foundry built on Backstage and Cloud Controller API v3. Modernize the developer experience and replace Stratos & Tanzu App Manager without re-platforming.

The Modern UI for Cloud Foundry Teams. No Re-Platforming Required.

Replace Stratos and Tanzu Apps Manager with a modern Cloud Foundry portal, no migration, no re-platforming, no disruption to your existing setup.

Your Cloud Foundry estate still runs the business. The market shouldn't get to force you off it.

The Tanzu shift you didn't choose

VMware® / Broadcom® repricing put your platform tooling and budget in question, seemingly overnight.

Stratos was built for a different era

Extensions and designs are integrated during development and are not added as runtime plugins. The feature set has not evolved since 2022.

Re-platforming is the wrong answer

Abandoning a proven CF operating model is a multi-year, high-risk cost most boards won't sign off lightly.

Modernize the experience, not the platform

We rebuilt the console on the modern platform-engineering stack — so you gain a future-proof UI while your Cloud Foundry foundations stay exactly as they are.

API foundation_3

Modern API foundation

Cloud Controller API v3-native: faster responses, clean resource relationships, no legacy assumptions.

Modular plugins on the de-facto internal developer portal standard. Install only what you need.

Optimize-dashboard

Journey Optimization

Manage multiple CF platforms from one dashboard with per-platform authentication.

THE PRODUCT

CF AppStage

CF AppStage: Delivers a modern Cloud Foundry console designed for enterprise needs, providing a supported, license-backed alternative to Stratos and Tanzu Apps Manager for organizations seeking stability and governance.

Modernize the console, not the platform

Your CF foundations remain the system of record, and your operating model stays untouched — add a console layer, not a multi-year re-platforming program.

A vendor behind your tooling

Actively developed and license-backed, with a roadmap and commercial support — not a community UI stalled since 2022, nor a console tied to one vendor's pricing.

No distribution lock-in

Runs on any CF API v3 foundation — if your CF provider's pricing or roadmap shifts, switch distribution without switching your portal.

Governed & auditable

Reflects your CF org, space, and role model, and surfaces platform audit events at the app, service, and org/space levels, alongside AppStage's own workflow logs. Managed, co-managed, or self-managed.

Cloud Foundry migrations are required to modernize. Your CF foundations, service brokers, and operating model stay exactly as they are.
1
Console across every Cloud Foundry foundation. Every CF foundation-dev, staging, production in a single authenticated session.
↓ TCO
Predictable licensing vs. proprietary suites & DIY upkeep. One license replaces: Stratos maintenance overhead, custom tooling upkeep, and ops time spent on tickets that developers could self-serve.

What is CF AppStage?

CF AppStage is a modern, closed-source Cloud Foundry management console built on Backstage and Cloud Controller API v3. It lets platform and application teams view and manage Cloud Foundry apps, services, orgs, and spaces across multiple foundations from one dashboard.

Is CF AppStage a replacement for Stratos?

Yes. Stratos is built on the deprecated Cloud Controller API v2 and lacks modern UX and extensibility. CF AppStage is a modern, supported, Backstage-native replacement on CC API v3.

How does it compare to Tanzu Application Service / Tanzu App Manager?

Tanzu App Manager is proprietary and monolithic. CF AppStage is modular, extensible and vendor-independent, with a clear license-fee model.

Do we have to migrate off Cloud Foundry?

No. CF AppStage modernizes the console layer only. Your Cloud Foundry foundations, service brokers and operating model stay in place.

How does licensing work?

CF AppStage is available under the anynines Data Service License. If you already hold license credits, you can deploy today. Contact us for net-new licensing.

Can the portal be white-labeled or customized for our brand?

Yes. CF AppStage supports full white-label theming, light, dark, and custom brand variants. Themes are managed in a separate deployment repository and injected at deploy time, so the CF AppStage codebase is never modified or forked to apply your brand. That means product updates and brand updates are independent.

What support is included?

CF AppStage is a commercially licensed product backed by anynines' enterprise support. anynines has delivered managed Cloud Foundry infrastructure to regulated enterprises for over a decade. Support is a core part of the offering, not an afterthought. Deployment options include co-managed (anynines operates alongside your team) and self-managed (you run it, we back you). For SLA details, support tiers, and response time commitments, contact us directly.

Cloud Foundry management,
finally modern.

CF AppStage is a modular, Backstage-native console built on the Cloud Controller v3 API — a drop-in upgrade from Stratos that unifies app and service visibility across all your CF foundations.
